A nine-year-old girl who went missing this afternoon while walking her puppy in south Wales has been found.
South Wales Police released a picture and description of the child, who was referred to only by her first name Brooke.
She had last been seen at around 3.30pm on Union Place in Tylorstown, a village in the Rhondda Valley north-west of Cardiff.
The force confirmed she has been located safe and well in a post on X, formerly Twitter, at 10pm.
A statement said: ‘Thank you to all who took the time to share the appeal and provide any information, however small it might have seemed, it really does make a difference.’
