The concert, which featured famous Bollywood singer Nikhita Gandhi, was held at the university’s open-air auditorium.

Emergency services were quick to respond and the injured students were taken to Kalamassery Medical College for treatment.

The state’s Health Minister Veena George confirmed the casualties and assured all necessary arrangements for the treatment of the victims would be taken care of.
