THE BIG Bang is over, and Fortnite is moving on to a brand-new chapter
Chapter 5 will come with three new family-friendly modes, and more is more highly anticipated than the others.
Rocket Racing and Fortnite Festival will launch later, but first is the turn of Lego Fortnite.
But everyone has their eyes on Lego Fortnite the upcoming block building mode.
Here’s everything we know about Fortnite Chapter 5’s Lego Fortnite mode
Fortnite Chapter 5: Is Lego collaborating with Fortnite?
On November 21, 2023, the official Lego Twitter account posted an image of a Lego version of Fortnite’s Loot Llama.
A week later, on November 28, 2023, it was announced that you can now link your Lego account to your Epic Games account, which is the account you use to log in to Fortnite.
Since then the official Lego Fortnite collaboration has been announced.
The blurb for the new mode reads: “Lego Fortnite is the ultimate survival crafting Lego adventure.
“It introduces vast, open worlds where the magic of LEGO building and Fortnite collide.
“Designed for people of all ages to enjoy together, the game will encourage creativity, experimentation, and collaboration through play.”
While the mode hasn’t launched we expect the new mode to be more than Minecraft than Fortnite.
We expect players to be able to gather, craft, and build items using Lego blocks.
Typical Fortnite skins have been reimagined as Lego men, giving the mode a new look.
The description also suggests that the map will be far larger than the usual Fortnite map.
Fortnite Chapter 5: When will the Lego Fortnite collab begin?
Downtime for Lego Fortnite has already begun and started on December 7, 2023, at 12am PT / 3am ET / 8am GMT.
We don’t know when the servers will go back online, but the earliest we expect is December 7, 2023, at 4am PT / 7am ET / 12pm GMT.
While this is the earliest time we expect the servers to return, it will likely be later than this.
