Gamers can’t believe that a game worth over £50 is now available absolutely free

THERE are many amazing deals available currently for gamers, but this one surprised us by just how good it is.

While free games are usually cheaper or less well-received titles, the currently free game is not only a fantastic one, but usually pretty pricey.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is currently available for free on the Epic Games Store.

Epic Games has been giving away free games every day for the past few weeks, but this marks the start of going back to the regular schedule.

Guardians of the Galaxy will be available for free on the Epic Games Store until Thursday, January 11, 2024.

Unlike Marvel’s Avengers which has gone offline and is no longer purchasable, you can play Guardians of the Galaxy completely offline and in single-player.

The blurb for the game reads: “Fire up a wild ride across the cosmos with a fresh take on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

“In this third-person action-adventure game, you are Star-Lord, and thanks to your bold yet questionable leadership, you have persuaded an oddball crew of unlikely heroes to join you.

“Some jerk (surely not you) has set off a chain of catastrophic events, and only you can hold the unpredictable Guardians together long enough to fight off total interplanetary meltdown.

“Use Element Blasters, tag-team beat downs, jet boot-powered dropkicks, nothing’s off-limits.”

You can grab Guardians of the Galaxy on the Epic Games Store website or via the Epic Games Store Launcher.

The launcher is free to download, and is required in order to play the game, so it could be worth downloading in advance.
