Netflix offers every subscriber the chance to download and play from almost 100 mobile games as part of its plans.

Here are the five games coming to Netflix in 2024 that we are most looking forward to.

Hades won numerous awards when it was released in 2018, and is consistently considered one of the best indies of all time with an impressive 93-rating.

You play as Zagreus, the son of Hades, who must travel through the underworld to meet up with his mother.

Even with the Greek Gods at your side, it’s no easy feat, and you will die again and again before you succeed.

However, each failure will still bring you closer to the prize as you upgrade your weapons and trinkets.

Sonic Mania Plus

Sonic Mania reminded fans of just how incredible classic 2D Sonic games are, winning over old-school fans.

It contains both completely new levels, alongside remixed levels of popular classics to welcome new fans to the series.

Plus added a number of upgrades to the original, such as new characters with different abilities to play as.

Sonic Mania Plus received an 87 rating on release, one of the highest ratings for a Sonic game.

Katana Zero

Katana Zero is a stylish action platformer, where one slash of an enemy sword means death for you.

Scoring an impressive 83 rating, it’s the complex level design and movement options that make this so compelling.

And this is all about movement. You will slash, dash and manipulate time in order to get from the start to the end of each level.

A must-play for fans of 2D games, especially those who like a challenge.

The Rise of the Golden Idol

This is the long-awaited sequel to 2022’s indie hit The Case of the Golden Idol that received an 84 rating.

The Rise of the Golden Idol is a point-and-click murder mystery set in the 1970s.

This time there are 15 cases for you to solve, which is three more than the original game.

It’s the perfect game for those with a quirky sense of humour and a love of puzzles.

Monument Valley

Both Monument Valley games will be coming to Netflix in 2024, and the first one has an impressive 89 rating.

These are puzzle platformers where you manipulate the environment in order to make a path forward.

Broken up into bite-sized levels, it doesn’t make the puzzles any less mind bending.

The perfect game on the go, with gorgeous art and immaculate cosy vibes.
