NINTENDO Switch is having an amazing New Year’s sale, with deep discounts on some of the best games on the platform.
We’ve been searching the sale for the must-buy deals and we’ve come up with a fantastic deal.
There is a three-game bundle where the lowest-rated game still has a fantastic 88 score on review aggregate site Metacritic.
BioShock: The Collection is a gaming bundle containing the three games from the BioShock series.
The first game, BioShock, is the highest-rated game in the collection with a whopping 96 rating.
It has received critical acclaim as an almost perfect game, blending together first-person shooting action with steampunk vibes.
There are also choices you make along the way with a deeper story than most people expect from the genre.
The next game in the story, BioShock 2, is the lowest-rated game in the series, but still has an excellent 88 rating.
It was mostly criticised for being too similar to the original game.
BioShock innovated in the genre and while BioShock 2 is still a great game, people had seen it before.
That’s why the team changed things up with BioShock Infinite where the setting went from underwater into the sky.
BioShock Infinite put the series back on top with an excellent 94 rating on Metacritic.
Infinite also has one of the biggest and best twists in gaming, which made people fall back in love with the series.
You can pick up all three games in BioShock: The Collection until Sunday, January 14, 2024, in the Nintendo New Year’s sale.
It is currently 80% off, and usually costs players on Nintendo Switch £39.99 on the console.
