Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is currently selling on Steam for £2.49 / $2.99, down from £24.99 / $29.99, a 90% discount.

Originally released in 2017, Hellblade is an action-adventure game set in a fantasy world inspired by Norse and Celtic myths.

The game tells the story of Senua, a Celtic warrior who must reach the Norse afterlife realm of Hellheim, dealing with monsters and her inner demons along the way.

Praised for their faithful depiction of psychosis, the game’s developers worked with mental health experts and people suffering from the condition to craft Senua’s journey.

Hellblade was received favorably by the critics when it launched and the game’s PC version is currently sitting at an 83/100 rating on review aggregator Metacritic.

This year, the game is finally getting its long-awaited sequel, titled Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, due to launch on May 21, 2024.

With the second game in the series on the horizon, this week’s deal is the best way to jump into the original title.

Unless you are subscribed to PC Game Pass, where the game is available at no additional cost, Steam’s current deal offers the lowest-ever price for Hellblade.

Players eager to experience Senua’s journey at a bargain price should hurry up, as the deal ends tomorrow, January 25 at 6pm UK Time / 11am ET.

The game features a great and moving story, but also comes with a trigger warning for ‘representation of psychosis’.

So if you are experiencing depression or another mental health condition, it may not be the best choice for you.
