PLAYSTATION fans may have their own showcase coming later this week.

This follows up from the Xbox Developer_Direct that happened earlier in the month, showcasing five popular games coming to Xbox consoles.

It gave deep dives into Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, Ara: History Untold, Avowed, Visions of Mana, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

However, it seems that PlayStation will feature more games in the rumoured State of Play, though it will likely not have so much detail on each game.

The State of Play has not been confirmed, but reports from various sources suggest that it will happen this week.

Here are the games rumoured to be showcased at the event:

  • Death Stranding 2
  • Until Dawn Remastered
  • Rise of the Ronin
  • Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
  • Silent Hill 2
  • Judas
  • Metro Awakening VR
  • New Sonic announcement

Many of these have been expected to be announced soon, even before the State of Play rumours began.

Supermassive Games has found success with games like The Quarry and The Dark Pictures Anthology, but Until Dawn has always been the most popular game from the team’s library.

There were rumours that the game would be making a comeback, bringing the game to a new audience.

Death Stranding 2 is the upcoming game by Hideo Kojima, which Kojima Productions is developing alongside the cinematic OD.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth was voted the most anticipated game of 2024 and will continue the story where Final Fantasy 7 Remake left off.

Silent Hill 2 is another long-awaited remake that has been in development for a number of years.

Only a small portion of the game has already been shown, and fans are eager to see how the game has developed.
