POKÉMON Scarlet & Violet received a huge upgrade with The Indigo Disk DLC, but the story was left unfinished.
That’s because a free epilogue was planned that ties up the story and brings players a never before seen Pokémon.
Coming out a month after The Indigo Disk launched, not only will it expand on the story, but it will also add additional boss fights for the Blueberry Academy post-game.

When does the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet epilogue launch?
You can start playing the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet epilogue from Thursday, January 11, 2024.
It has a global launch time, meaning that the time will be different depending on your time zone.
Here are the times you can play the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet epilogue.
Thursday, January 11, 2024
- 6am PT (Western US)
- 9am ET (Eastern US)
- 2pm GMT (UK time)
- 3pm CET (Central Europe)
Friday, January 12, 2024

What is Pecharunt?
Pecharunt is a new mythical Pokémon that will be first appearing in the epilogue for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
It has the Ghost/Poison typing and comes with the signature ability, Poison Puppeteer.
This ability is unique to Pecharunt, and will confuse any Pokémon that Pecharunt poisons.
It is a great fit for Pecharunt as it has a lot of moves that inflict poison, and even a special move dedicated to it.
Malignant Chain is Pecharunt’s signature move. It has 100 base power and a 50% chance to poison.
However, if you want to ensure the poison/confusion combo, you can use a “certain-to-poison” move like Toxic instead.
