But, the biggest announcement was possibly for the smallest product – the Ring.

The Ring doesn’t have a release date or price and appears to be targeted at people who want less intrusive wearable tech.

Solid colour and minimalist, the Ring looks like a man’s wedding ring – with the sensors hidden on the inside.

While information about the new product is still only limited, the Ring shows the Korean giant is doubling down on health products like its Galaxy Watch.

Samsung executive Hon Pak said during a recent interview: “The ring represents that community of people who want health tracking that is more comfortable and less obtrusive.

“It’s meeting a need of a specific population of people who want to track and measure, but in a different way.”

The Ring was announced by the clinical research scientist Matthew Wiggins at the San Jose event, after a segment demonstrating Galaxy AI and a user’s health.

He said the AI-powered Samsung health experience will be able to track sleeping patterns, blood oxygen changes, and heart-rates during sleep.

A patent filed by Samsung in 2023 said the Ring is: “intended to cover the categories of wearable smart devices in the nature of a smart ring for tracking, measuring, monitoring, and uploading health, fitness and sleep-related information.”

The Sun recently tested the  Galaxy S24 Ultra and found there’s a lot to shout about.

The S24 series isn’t cheap – especially the top-tier Ultra we tested – with some exclusive AI features.

Meanwhile, Samsung TV viewers have spotted hidden buttons that could be a lifesaver when you can’t find the remote.

People are just realising that there are a number of buttons tucked away under the logo on the front of their Samsung TV, particularly those released in 2018.
