Though the unofficial Steam status page hasn’t recognized the platform’s outage, the site has reported an unusual amount of visitors to the page.

“There have been an increased amount of page views on this site in the past hour, this could indicate an issue with Steam,” a message on the website says.

Reports drop in the UK

After over 200 users reported issues with Steam around 6 pm GMT, reports have now started to drop, according to Downdetector.

Just around 110 gamers are now reporting problems with the platform.

Over 2,300 users in the United States reported issues with Steam as of 6 pm ET, according to Downdetector.

Reports seem to have begun to drop, but still remain over 2,000.

While Steam is down for thousands, gamers are reporting issues with the platform on social media.

Issues with server connection

Thousands of users are reporting problems with Steam’s server connection, per Downdetector.

71% of problems are reportedly due to server connection, while 19% of users are having trouble logging in to the platform.

Meanwhile, 10% of reports are about the website itself.
