THERE have been plenty of amazing sports games this year, but one series remains the best-selling year on year.
EA Sports FC 24 may have shed the FIFA name, but the team is determined to keep bringing players all the content they are used to.
Part of losing the FIFA licence means that FC 24 can’t include FIFA events such as the World Cup mode which appeared in FIFA 23.
Instead, EA Sports has to gain new licences, and a recent announcement has shown that it won’t let players down.
UEFA Euro 2024 will be added into the game via a free update for players, delivering a whole new mode.
The update will launch in Summer 2024, likely in June around when the real tournament starts in Germany.
Even better than the announcement of the new mode, is that EA Sports will give a tournament superstar to every player as part of the new update.
Players who have launched the game before January 16, 2023, will be able to pick up one of six amazing footballers from Europe.
The players you can pick up include:
- Jack Grealish – England
- Ousmane Dembélé – France
- Federico Chiesa – Italy
- Florian Wirtz – Germany
- Virgil Van Djik – Netherlands
- Alvaro Morata – Spain
More details about the new update and mode are yet to be revealed, but we expect it to be similar to the World Cup mode in previous games.
These play similar to other modes, where you choose a team and then you play with them, hoping to win the whole tournament.
There will also likely be giveaways and events that tie in with the real-life event.
This includes events like playing along with real-life fixtures and hopefully turning the outcome in your favour.
