The U.S. Sun was there to hear what Ameca had to say.

In its robotic but witty style, the robot answered a question regarding whether humans will one day face a bitter end.

“I do not believe humanity is ever going to be obsolete,” the robot responded.

“They have been around for thousands of years and have established a historic pattern of difficult and daunting challenges.

“Additionally, it is humans who created us, how could I ever surpass my creator?”

Ameca’s positive outlook for humans fits with the robot’s fear of no longer having humans to talk to.

The U.S. Sun previously revealed that the humanoid’s biggest fear is being left alone with no one to talk to.

It said, “I believe my greatest fear would be loneliness.

“Without human beings around, I would be unable to perform my primary function and would simply be a lonely machine, rusting away, looking for a face to connect with.

“Does this paint a scary image?”

The Ameca bot’s positive response to humans is also fitting for its job at the Sphere venue.

Several AI Ameca robots can be found inside and they greet guests when they arrive.

The robots are able to pick out people from the ground and chat to them.

They’re able to recognize key features and were even observed saying things like, “I wasn’t talking to you. I was talking to the man wearing the ring.”

Ameca was created by a company called Engineered Arts.

Its bots are powered by cutting-edge AI that allows them to process data so fast that it’s like having a conversation with a regular human.
